“The Uplands at Ittatsoo
Bay”
a Wild Pacific Group Development
Land |
|
- Situated on the Western edge of Barkley Sound just
outside Ucluelet Inlet, the Broken Group of Islands is visible from just
about everywhere in the development. The Owner purchased the
properties, now consisting of three hundred & twenty acres, beginning in 1991. They are
now ready to share the beauty and unique features of their land with
a fortunate few.
- “The Uplands” is the first portion to be
developed and consists of fourteen ten acre parcels creating a self sufficient,
ecologically sensitive rural residential community. The Uplands is located
on the benchlands overlooking Barkley Sound, the Broken Group Islands,
Ucluelet and the open Pacific Ocean.

|
Location |
- Barkley Sound as described by Pacific Rim National
Park Reserve;
“Backed by the Insular Mountains Range of Vancouver Island and facing the
open Pacific Ocean, Pacific Rim presents the rich natural and cultural heritage
of Canada's west coast. Its cool and wet maritime climate produces an abundance
of life in the water and on land. Lush coastal temperate rainforest gives way
to bountiful and diverse intertidal and subtidal areas. These natural wonders
are interwoven with the long and dynamic history of the Nuu-chah-nulth First
Nations and European explorers and settlers.”
