The Midlands — Where diverse ecosystems converge

The Midlands

The Midlands occupy the central heart of the Ittatsoo Bay lands and rise from preserved wetlands to the surrounding ridges. A wild diversity of ecosystems fills the Midlands including meadows, wetlands and old growth forests.

Trail System

The homesites, green spaces and beaches of Ittatsoo Bay are connected by an extensive trail system that links up with trails from the surrounding area.

The Moors

The Moors - the twin marshes in the Midlands - are unlike any other ecosystem at Ittatsoo Bay and will be preserved as part of the provincial parks sytem.

Utilities

Utilities will be installed following subdivision approval

Water Access

Ittatsoo Bay residents have exclusive use of the private marine access boat ramp, boat trailer parking area and kayak centre at Hunt Bay, one of the only protected coves on the west side of Barkley Sound with such access.

ITTATSOO FARM

The Midlands and Oceanfront properties will be serviced by the twenty-acre Ittatsoo Farm located on a south-facing terrace that overlooks the vibrant watershed below. The farm will produce abundant organic greens all year long and explode in productivity from spring to fall.
